This privacy policy describes how Cellmata ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Cell Collection (the "App").
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and username. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from the provider. We do not store your password — authentication is handled by our infrastructure provider.
Game data. We store your game statistics, scores, and leaderboard entries to provide gameplay features.
Analytics. We collect anonymous usage events (e.g. screens viewed, games played) associated with a randomly generated device identifier. If you are signed in, events may be linked to your user account. We do not collect device hardware identifiers.
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. When you delete your account, all associated personal data (profile, game history, leaderboard entries) is permanently removed.
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to restrict processing and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA to know what data we collect and to request deletion.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls on our database. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
